#4 ...Would it be impolite of me to point out that just a day or two back, the CP had an overwhelming vote of 'no confidence' in its leadership?

I can see discipline for the two guys who took pics and were wearing MAGA hats. But all of a sudden, an appreciable fraction of the CP is now under investigation? Either they were no good to begin with, or the leadership is afraid that their malfeasance is going to be exposed.
