#2 Is this the Karzai brother who owns a significant fraction of the opium industry in Afghanistan, or does Hamid have several brothers? [google google google] Looks like it's the drug kingpin. Also, Ahmad Wali isn't technically unelected, he's some sort of provincial official in Kandahar.

Translation: US Contracts, US base rental fees, road construction, fuel contracts, garbage contracts, jobs for Haji little people, base rentals fees $$, air corridor payments and fees, free USAID dollars, more US contracts, more US base rental fees. Haji base security contracts and fees. Did I mention Air Base $$ lease and overflight $$ fees?
