#1 Rajori is jihadi infested. Looks like Mufti Sayeed is giving breathing space for his jihadi brothers.
Things were probably too hot for them.

Sinha, the Governor of J+K called Mufti's demands for withdrawal "obnoxious". But Mufti's party is allied to the ruling Congress coalition and it is politics, not security that will determine things.

When Mufti was Home Minister of India in 1989, a group of terrorists kidnapped his daughter Rubaiya Sayeed. He released several jailed terrorists in exchange for her. This triggered a series of copycat kidnappings and release of jailed terrorists. This was the start of a dozen years of murder and bombings.

Mufti demanded to be made Chief Minister of J+K in exchange for his party's support to the ruling coalition. He has been pushing the Hurriyat agenda such as the disbanding of the Police SOG units that hunt jihadis and the withdrawal of Indian units to their cantonments.
