#14 Regulators have raised concerns about the batteries used in electric vehicles. The National Transportation Safety Board warned in a 2020 report that the batteries can pose safety risks to emergency responders.

If the gawdforsaken thing is arcing, yes, call in the highway department.

One of the first things we like to do is disconnect the battery.

These things are a giant battery carriage capable of discharging enough energy at any moment to keep a highway vehicle at highway speeds.

And smoke, dense, enough, will conduct electricity, that is why the electricity to a neighborhood is shut off during a fire, among additional reasons.
