#2 a veil is no different from a motorcycle helmet in terms of hindrance to vision.

A veil is cloth and moves in response to motion of the head, drafts from a window etc. A veil can easily shift while driving and obscure vision either in part or in full. A motorcycle helmet is a static , hard material that does not shift when being worn. There is no parallel. It's an apples and oranges thing, but muslims don't seem to understand that. They may be right about the nuns tho'.

#3 The woman detained for driving in a veil said on i-Tele television, "my field of vision was sufficient." She raised the back of her veil over her head and covered her eyes totally, and added, "Now, it is not."

Apparently this jackass has never drove with a window down.

I love that line, French by nationality.

Its disgusting really, horse blinders on a human.
