#1 All he has to do is tell Congress to repeal the policy. After all, it was established by Congress.
Does anybody know if an executive order can contradict a law? Could he just issue an executive order to repeal the Don't ask Don't tell law?

#2 Not sure, Rambler, but I doubt an executive order can repeal a law passed by Congress.

No reason that should stop O'Bambi, though. None of our other laws seem to apply to him and his minions....

#3 That's sort of what I meant, Barbara. I don't see why he doesn't just issue an executive order, and make it so.
Of course, those reenlistment rates that have been so high might start to tumble, but that is all part of the plan.
