#2 /\ Currently, American unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are intensively loitering over Ash Shaddadi and the border area.

Likely a Klingon UAV stationing, operations and retransmission (RETRANS) site. Might be some ad hoc 'host nation' training going on by the Army as a cover for action.

#3 It’s Hasakah province, so I imagine they’re working with the SDF, ie the Syrian Kurds.

The attackers are probably Iranian clients reporting to the IRGC, just as they are in Iraq.

#4 It is a tripwire so that we end up in conflict with a random selected combatant. It is like the Outpost portion of the Korean Conflict without the underlying purpose.
