#1 Once again R-Burgers, the firefinder found em, plotted the POO (Point of Origin), sounded the Giant Voice. Soldiers did what they need to do, (Kitted and Bunkered up) and I'm sure Counter-battery was on it's way before the last round fell. Mortarmen normally have a huge set of Stones when incoming rounds are falling around them. Like a hive of Bees, they have a thing about protecting their home.

#2 Actually, The mortar crews will often swing into action before even gearing up, in whatever uniform they just so happen to be in. Flip Flops anyone?
