#2 If the good guys are always "struggling" to stem a surge in violence", what are the bad guys doing? Improving their tactics? Winning the war against the forces of corrupt westernism? Continuing the valiant ~~struggle~~ crusade against the infidel? Or is the leftist slant showing?

#3 Actually the Arab News has become less biased over the past few months.

According to Strategypage, so has Al J, Al-Aribiya and some of the others.

At this point, if you want to get a consistent anti American slant, you have to go to the BBC or the Guardian or the NYTimes or the newsletter of the Berkeley polysci faculty.
