#6 Re my parsing /rephrasing of the headline, there's so much to choose from...

Ask yourself how this group are different from the 1970s-era Irish Relublican Army - which would make the Soros-supported pols and DAs the equivalent of Sinn Fein:

1) National coordination ("came from Massachusettes, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Iowa, Nevada, Virginia, Maryland, Texas and St. Paul, Minnesota")

2) Concerted, advanced planning with careful communications ("strong indicators they planned for violence in advance using at times encrypted communications")

3) Specialized roles, support functions, materiel, and supply chain/logistics ("groups had organized scouts, medics, and supply routes of rocks, bottles and accelerants for breakaway groups to commit vandalism and violence"

4) Financial and medical support networks ("Before the protests began, organizers of certain anarchists groups set out to raise bail money and people who would be responsible to be raising bail money, they set out to recruit medics and medical teams with gear to deploy in anticipation of violent interactions with police")

5) Carefully-chosen strategic targets ("[they] directed people who were following them that this should be done selectively and only in wealthier areas or at high-end stores run by corporate entities")

In sum, the IRA's goal was to create mayhem, kill Protestants, cripple the Ulster authorities and force the British to abandon Northern Ireland. Thatcher was their bete noire.

Substitute White America for Protestants, the police for the British and Trump for Thatcher and it's a pretty clean analogy.

Oh, and The Troubles lasted over three decades...
