So the Iraqis identify Jordanians as Arab nationals? Is this opposed to their indigenous Assyrian ethnicity or what? Do they consider the Arabs as foreigners? Every since the post regarding the Lebanese Phoenician vs. arab debate, I've noticed several distinctions made among themselves in that part of the world.

Apparently the Iraqi government hasn't reached the Western levels of sophistication in officially identifying and reporting ethnicity when it comes to their insurgents.

Then again, they are a little pressed at the moment...
