#1 Am I allowed to mention Islamic Values? Or is that not considered PC here?

Am I racist if I point out that Moslem Values actually are Moslem Values? Or is that too radical a concept for rantburg to allow or Conscience?

Islam is not going to have what we consider normal self evident Values. So if they target a Hospital ship or a Hospital per se...they don't feel any shame or disconnect. They feel perfectly at ease in their Islamic reality with setting up a rocket emplacement next to a Daycare center. They are Moslems.

We expect them to have OUR Values. They are actually Moslems and they don't have our values You can erase this post now for telling you the sky is Blue.

Using your simplistic logic, 291 homicides (that's murders - try to follow me here) in Chicago are "OUR values" Baltimore's race to match them? Moslem values. Some guy shooting up a bunch of politicians on a ball field in the glorious state of Virginia? Our, or Moslem values. Two prisoners from that bastion of Southern Values, Georgia, killing two guards and carjacking their way to Tennessee? Whose values.

Sounds ludicrous, Hemingway? Sounds kind of stupid, doesn't it?

Maybe it's something else. Maybe you could come up with an answer if you did some real thinking. If you don't want to think, look at History. Pol Pot and Cambodia is an easy example. The Holocaust is even easier. If you're really stumped or reading is too damn hard, maybe you could ask a cop or an emergency room doc for an answer when they've dealt with a badly beaten toddler. Surely you know a couple - maybe even on friendly terms. Or find a good newspaper reporter and buy 'em a drink.

Or if that sounds like too much work - ask yourself, why the Protestant Irish still hate the Catholic ones and vice versa. Or if that's really hard to do, why, after 150 years, why the US Civil War still lingers, especially in your neck of the woods.

Moslem Values. Right?

Go on, Hemingway. Give it some thought.

#3 Hemingway doesn't do thought. He throws together some salacious text that he thinks we will swallow, hoping to point it out to his progressive friends as an example of how racist and simple-minded we are. He is like that writer who joined the Army and got as far as Kuwait, then wrote purple prose for one of the liberal magazines purporting to show that his comrades in Iraq were vicious simpletons... only it was entirely a figment of his imagination. He was court martialed for it, as I recall, and fired from the magazine as well. I don't remember if his girlfriend was fired as well, though she deserved to be for selling the series to the editor.
