#1 Would she be responsible for any debts he ran up in that time? I doubt it. Bullshit ruling

#5 #1 - but he would be responsible for any debts she ran up. It's the privilege of matriarchy.

Recall the NY just enter a bill to decriminalize the oldest profession. You pay one way or you pay another as amply demonstrated.

#7 I presume it’s a community property state so until the divorce is final all assets are jointly owned unless held separate by agreement; if so and she won the lottery he’d have had a claim.

#9 Community property is premised on the theory that marriage creates an economic community between the spouses

What if that premise is flawed? Suppose a marriage creates a "community economic loss?. For example, the wife maxes out the credit cards on a spending spree in anticipation that there will be a divorce. Can the husband sue for recompense for the spending spree?

#10 oh yeah - ever seen $30M soaked in gas and lit?
