#1 XP? so does your ATM, your bank, your hospital, retailers cash registers, most airliners, even the Internet and the cloud. It works, it's stable.

#3 So? It may be a kludge, but it is a stable kludge for isolated systems once debugged. There are systems that use languages like COBOL or FORTRAN because it works and there is no reason to "reinvent the wheel".

#4 stable kludge for isolated systems

And there is all you need to know. Isolated systems are unhackable over the net because they are not ON the net.

Once you pull the plug on network connectivity virtually all your problems go away..Kind of like running elections with paper ballots.

#5 You need to type a word or sentence to anchor the link, then highlight or select it, and only then click on the link icon to get the box in which you enter the URL.

#8 M. Murcek, next time, try putting a desription in between the >< in the link. That's a functionality the URL doodad is missing.

Example:{a href="http://Linky.linky.link"}{/a}

If you note, the part right after 'link">' should have a descriptor to describe the link as in the following: {a href="http://Linky.linky.link"}descripton of linky link{/a} which will end up looking like this with a working link: "descripton of linky link"

(Note I replaced the '< and > with { and }' in the above example so the full example will how up here.)

Hope this helps.

#11 Cute, Anomalous Sources.

Well described, Seeking cure -- thank you.

M. Murcek, I went into your comment and added text where you didn't have any and voila! The link appeared. It was there all along, just needed that bit of text to be visible.
