#1 this question was on the short form for many years then migrated to the long form (only about a 10% sample got this)

Obama got rid of the long form for the 2010 census.

#2 ...but insisted he was not retreating from his fight against illegal immigration

1) Nice inline editorializing from Reuters there, isn't it?

2) When's the last time you've seen Trump back down from a fight?

#3 Do you have any idea how long you'll be on hold calling that number? My all-time record on hold with the IRS's Practitioner Priority Line (866-860-4259) from four years ago was 1 hour 54 minutes. Just to note, that was during the Obama administration, when it was done on purpose, just to piss us off.

#5 Without a citizenship question the census is a fraud.
Since I live in CA my vote has been cancelled out by illegal aliens who game the system.
So I will not participate in the census to cancel out illegal alien census returns.
In CA there is no reason to participate in the census because it only benefits the opposition party that controls this state.
So there.
Two can play that game.

#6 I do not return the census living in NJ. I'm doing my part to reduce idiot Leftist representation in Congress. #JUSTDONTANSWER

#8 In 1940 and 1950, they just asked where you were born. All of the forms are available here.

#9 If it's not on the census form, I don't think it can be used for re-apportionment.

If that's correct, it raises the question: what would the "obtained data from government records" be used for?

#10 what would the "obtained data from government records" be used for?

Moving the Overton Window.
