#1 Uh oh. I don't think the SecTrans is even in the running for worst/sleaziest cabinet member or czar - but this is another item that causes one to muse: imagine, just try to imagine, a performance like that of this WH and cabinet when a) the US was a serious country b) there was something resembling a press c) there was something resembling a check in the form of a Congress that could even partly fulfill its constitutional role in this regard.

It would be chaos and bedlam, resignations and scandal, approval ratings in the low 20s - all after 6 months.
