#7 ....Were I the IOC - and I'm not, more's the pity - I would think that there is more than sufficient evidence to suspend the US from international gymnastic competitions for a few years until they can prove they have their shiat together.

THAT would get people's attention PDQ.

#8 Look. What happend is nasty, I hope it never happens again. That said we are looking at the end of the era where what went on was "the price of doing business." It was always wrong but back in the day it was how it worked. Clean it up and move on. Can we do similar with slavery? Of course not.
