In the Computer Manufacturing market.
I am hearing shortages of the Intel gen-11 gamer processor, certain motherboards and etc.

I am seeing a leading time from order to delivery of 6+/- months for certain items.

Surprisingly I am mostly hearing the reason is awaiting hardware parts, not the IC's

#2 I started replacing windows this year.
The first wave took 5-6 weeks from order to install.
The second is 10-12 weeks.

#3 Re: #1, I recently RMA'd a new but dead motherboard and got it back still dead with a note that they couldn't fix it because of "parts shortage." I seriously doubt they'd still consider fixing it for free after the "parts shortage" ends if the warranty clock has run out.

#4 Product shortages and increasingly absent mainstream product lines for extended periods at WallyWorld expanding. I suspect a mix of shut down manufacturing and atrophied delivery system capacity. Entropy of vastly complex interconnected economies do not function like an electric switch, and repeated on/off manipulations by DC cause capital/investment decisions that devastate efficiencies imprinted over the years as parts go permanently absent. We are governed by very ignorant ideologues and clueless socialists. It ain't getting better anytime soon my friends!
