#2 Interesting. For some reason, all sweeteners are not equal. Beet sugar and high fructose corn syrup are metabolized differently than sugar cane. I predict an uptick in illegal kidney trafficking and diabetes. Substituting artificial sweeteners will then ensure neuropathy and gangrene. The only Cubans left will be in Miami, offering prime real estate in the Caribbean. Gitmo expansion?
