#1 Um, I'm quite sure this was posted by me; just sayin', and no disrespect to my fellow Celtics fan Clem.

#2  Raj also submitted the Zero Hedge article. His comments are highlighted in yellow, below

Clem submitted the ABC article, Raj, and while he linked to the Zero Hedge article, you are given credit for the rest of it.

#3 Wait for the TV networks and pay per view to force early contract renegotiations due to lack of viewers.

#6 China and existing contracts with the media. Might be different when those contracts get renewed.

#7 >This would have devastating financial consequences for the league and certainly NBA players

Devastating? Going from 1 million dollars a game to just 10 thousand (99% loss of salary) would still make you extremely rich.

#9 Does anyone know when their TV contracts expire and have to be renegotiated?

Or, alternatively, does anyone know how much money the TV networks had to refund to the advertisers because the #s didn't meet the guaranteed minimums?

#10 I'm surprised that the playoffs only account for 10% of projected revenue; unless it is 15% and they still accounted for 5% of projection.

If that is the case, that is a lot of dependency on people watching because sportsball gameday, and if they didn't show up for mega championship history time starring big market 1 and big market 2, then if I were an investor at any orbit - I'm getting penguin foot.
