#1 This is likely to backfire. hunters are a lot smarter than they think (1). They will just get pissed off and be sure to vote.

(1) I mean how much intelligence does it take to sneak up on a head of lettuce at the local whole foods?

#4 Year by year the regulations involving hunting and the transporting of weapons get more complex -and- they think people having to deal with this are simple, backwoods hicks? This was thought of by some "city kid" sitting in front of a computer in their parent's basement...

As for pissing off the hunters, bad idea! Not because they have guns, but because they are dedicated, determined and used to acting as a group to go up against stupid laws affecting their sport.
