#1 Netanyahu - isn't he the leader of what some other French guy referred to as "that shitty little country"?

Savagely funny in-line, btw.

#2 In Instapundit's opinion this is
"Actually, this is probably just an effort, rather clumsily and obviously executed, to create distance before Israel whacks the Iranian nuke program."

#3 I would go with the 'intentional distancing, clumsily handled' point of view. I don't think Obama is capable of anything with more craft, though; this is him at his best.

#4 Don't fret over this, just go out and take a look at one of the bronze statues of Obama. The one that is dedicated to the "I cannot tell a lie Obama", or the Obama "You can trust me" statue. When you see the statues, you can feel better.

#5 Somehow I am sure that Sarkozy and Obama knew those microphones were on. It is a trick almost every politicians knows.

#6 Is anybody surprised if this is real? Its not as if they've been nice in public about Israel. The elite-lefties have picked Palestine as their guy and only say nice things about Israel because they need to be reelected.

#7 But that's what all politicians do!

#9 This from the man who claims he was only bombing Libya to "protect civilians".

And why would he want to distance himself from an attack on Iran? Because he is a sniveling weasel who is afraid that Iranians might hit back?

You wanna see a lying, two-faced, sniveling weasel? Kinda makes me fear for the future of Western Civilization.

#10 Reuters confirms from their own sources that the conversation took place as reported.

#11 Totally, TW. Thankfully Bibi is not as naive as I was:

"Hey, guys! My mom got me this awesome sparkly pink Hello Kitty t-shirt, because I got As in AP Physics and AP History, and I made the track team too. You did too, right? Aren't we all so awesome?!"

#12 Somehow I'm guessing these two never read _How To Win Friends And Influence People_.

We are, indeed, dear Random JD. ;-) Although for me it was gymnastics... But remember, the prime minister was the dumb one of his family. The poor man probably never got a sparkly pink Hello Kitty t-shirt.

#16 I would like to thank my mother for never buying me a sparkly pink Hello Kitty T-shirt. My grandmother, on the other hand, did buy me stuff like that...when I was thirty.

It gives me a sad to report that the Hello Kitty store in our local (tiny) shopping center is no more. They once had a HK toaster oven in the window.

#17 I love my sparkly pink HelloKitty shirt. And the attention I get when I wear it.
