#2 Bin Laden's plan was to get us embroiled in endless, extremely costly wars all over the world.

It worked.

#4 Notice how ALL casualties are the fault of the US. Why, if we just didn't resist, no one would die at all!

#5 Why, if we just didn't resist, no one would die at all!

Which brings up the question: Does this tally include the Muslims killed by Al Qaeda and Daesh for breaking Shariah law? Then The half million number seems believable.

One point - These Islamo-nazis are much better at killing their fellow Muslims than unbelievers.

#6 It seems to include everybody killed under every circumstance in which the US was even tangentially involved in the conflict. But honestly, even so, considering the next population of the countries involved in many hundreds of millions, and it has taken about 17 years to get to that number, that's really not very many at all. Half a million sounds like a lot, but it's actually less than a tenth of a percent of the involved populations over 17 years, a period that has seen a generation born and grow to adulthood (in countries where a 17 year old is still forced to grow up under most circumstances, unlike in the US).

#9 I always like to compare deaths to the carnage on U.S. highways. In 17 years, between 500,000 and 600,000 innocent civilians died on U.S. highways, probably many more, and that doesn't even consider all the wounded. Umm, injured.

#11 And we never really went crazy on them. They should consider what it might be like if we went all out war.
