#1 Sounds like a job for Richard Widmark.

#5 IIrc, Chain, bar and lang"grel are prohibited items in the geneva convention. Don't get Amnesia Int'l after you!
Besides, it tears up the rifiling in a 155 How.

#6 Mrs Davis.

Great obscure (to the youngsters) movie reference.

Doesn't apply to law enforcement, does it?

As for the howitzer -- don't they have "beehive" rounds for them?

#8 The 155mm howitzer has a nasty flechette round that consists of 2350 inch-and-a-half long flechettes about as big around as a kitchen match wrapped around an explosive core. Each flechette has fins for stability. They do a number on just about anything. Saw a photo of a group of VC caught by one in SEA. The VC were leading two water buffalo well-draped with explosives, which didn't go off on impact. It didn't matter - they looked like humps of raw hamburger. Would be a rather nasty weapon to use on a street riot. I think a Bradley chain gun would be more humane, and easier to direct.

#9 They won't tell us what they are doing. "It's a law enforcement matter STFU or I'll haul your ass to jail too." How about that for an answer? Thats is whay you would get here in the good old USA.
