#20 It may be time for a Constitutional Convention. If for no other reason to re-affirm and strengthen the current document. IIRC the Constitutional Convention leading to the present Constitution went beyond its initial mission. The electorate and political class being what they are, a new and revised constitution could wind up being horrible. It did take a civil war and the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to undo the Dred Scott decision.
