#1 What a maroon. Who do you think keep private arms in their own home?

What are you going to do if those members reject your illegal orders? Call Trump for federal troops? I can hear the laughter at the other end of the line.

#2 "If we have constitutional laws on the books and law enforcement officers are not enforcing those laws on the books, then there are going to be consequences," he continued."

Problem solved right there. Confiscation is patently unconstitutional. I refer you to a little known section, we the deplorables, call 2A.

#4 This was tried back in 1775. It didn't work so well for the people in charge, if memory serves correctly.

#5 Always remember the instructive case of the Arizona traffic cameras. They were roundly criticized as being overly aggressive and left the ticketed driver with no legal chance for appeal.

The citizens of Arizona simply stopped paying any and all tickets that were issued by camera. Non- plussed by a revolt of the masses, the governor had his chief LEO figure out just what it would take to get them 'aire peons back on a paying basis. It was thought that it would require every LEO in the state. State, county, municipal, federal, every last one just to get the ticket racket back on line. Truly would you need to have a heart of stone not to be convulsed with mirth at the news conference with the 4 nearly tearful state troopers formerly in charge announcing the program's demise.

Moral of the story, there are more of us than there are of them.

#6 I think Gov Two-Face is confused on who make up the National Guard. It could just be him staring down the end of a gun barrel.

#7 VA vote for him, they voted for this. He is not a moron, he is doing what the voters asked. The true morons in this game are the citizens of VA, they brought this jackass into power.

#8 "But I’ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it."

Interesting choice of words, sir.

#9 Despite all the discussion of using the National Guard for law enforcement actions people see to remember that virtually all of the Guard equipment and pay comes from the Federal government. A phone call and signature by the President can federalize the Guard and remove all command and control from the states hands. Remember when George Wallace was using the Guard to resist integration and they we federalized on the spot by Eisenhower.

#15 Damn. Revolutions are what happens in other countries, right?

Read a post awhile back that stated approximately 50% of the NG would not follow (at what levels I don't know) an order to fire upon American civilians.

You mean like not notifying ICE of apprehended illegals?
