#3 This is a little puzzling, until one sees that the brother was honoring the muslim 'custom'(i.e. 'law') of (parentally) arranged marriage. In other words, you have no say in the matter, someone else decides who you will marry. The question remains, what honor is there to protect? What is honorable in submitting to yet another loss of freedom? What punishment is in place, as in a law aganst animal cruelty, to compel this weird brother, to face the consequences of his anger? this is not the first time stories of outrageous cruelty have been inflicted on animals "in the name of Islam"
