At the risk of repetition, I think it may well be that Iraq will require a civil war to smash their slavery once and for all (in Iraq's case the totalitarian power mongers dressed up as beturbanned stone aged Islamofacist...phew), just like the USA had to go through itâs civil war, ensuring that abolition became part of the national psyche, finally and unambiguously.

God bless our soldiers...
