#5 Your right LotR. Did anyone watch 'The Crusades' on the [rewrite]History channel last week? I didn't but by the ads it looked like it would only cover the 'Christian Aggression' on the peaceful doelike muslims.....

I was wondering how balanced it was.

#6 check out "Kingdom of Heaven" on DVD - good fictional account of the crusades...pretty balanced too

#7 Frank G: The reviewers on NetFlix don't seem to agree that it was balanced. Made the Christians look bad and ducked criticism of the Muslims.

#9 Police ... have fired tear gas to break up groups of youths who hurled stones and bins hours before a curfew was due to begin.

This shows things are getting better because the 'youths' are not violating the curfew while rampaging!

#10 FG: as a RC Christian, I had no problem with it.....

I guess if you don't go to Mass and think every priest is a pedophile, the Kingdom of Heaven might seem balanced. Everyone having anything to do with the church hierarchy is maligned in the film. But hey, at least none of them is portrayed as a pedophile - coming from Hollywood, that is what I call balance.
