#1 More and more I am starting to think the next thing we need to turn over to the Iraqi's is not the military but the Prison system. With McCain (a victim himself which in any sane court world wide would make him in elligible for a judgement on Torture Biased cannot be helped by victims) and the LLL's peace love and happiness crew and then of course the other weak Repubs it wont be long and our prison and interrogation system will be fully compromised. The Iraqis on the other hand get things done Wolf Brigade grab people in the morning in the afternoon have them confessing on TV all thier sins others sins and some they make up.

#2 I gather that both the Iraqi prison system and the US military confinement system are full up. Our side has been so very effective at policing up the recalcitrants, we have an embarassment of riches, as it were.

Something that gets occassional minor mention is how we are continually looking for new ways to let go many of the prisoners with some degree of control--releasing into the custody of some tribal leader, for example. However, so many of these birds are outcasts or unaffiliated that it still presents a problem.

#4 Just yesterday the UN was complaining that we were grabbing them faster then they could process them out. So is the US or the UN running the Iraqi Prison system?
IF the UN - get them out of there.
