#1 Presumably Syria will be sending disguised military forces and a mass of irregular forces (Hezballah) amidst lots of innocent women and children for them to hide behind, so any Israeli counter-attack generates lots of collateral damage for the media.

#2 The first BIG attack by Hissybollah or Syrian agents should be acknowledged by nuking Damascus, where 90% of Israel's troubles with its neighbors originates. That would put a stop to most of the sh$$ Israel has to put up with. It would send shock waves throughout the MME as well. The attitude of the rest of the world should be "you mess with the bull, you get the horn."
