#3 You might excuse Nutjob and the Mad Mullahs for taking encouragement from the limp wristed responses they've seen so far. #7 Time for an Iranian pucker factor check. August 6, 1945 was the bombing of Hiroshima. We bombed a truculent, hostile, belligerent foe. They said they would never surrender. The Japanese were militaristic and knew something about war. They were also fanatical in their beliefs much like the current crop of terrorists and terrorist supporting countries.

#8 This statement is one of the reasons that Khaddafi will die a rich content old dictator in his bed, surrounded by family members. He pointed the US with several sharp sticks until we bombed the hell out of his palace; then he saw what happened to Saddam and Iraq during GWII and voluntarily compiled with a full NBC disclosure including handing over plans, names, files, and actual enriched uranium to us. If he positions himself as the North African reasonable dictator, he can retire into wealth and security, and his son will take over as President for Life.

#9 The US should spread word, unofficially, to all embassies to ensure their personal are out of Qom (actually tell the Russians a different city altogether) on a certain day, best if they are out of Iran altogether.

Start a stockpile of geiger counters and nuclear cleanup gear in nearby Iraq. Supply those iodine (I think) pills that help a bit with radiation poisoning to every foreign embassy in Iran.

Basically play the wild Gajin. The world thinks Bush is crazy, he should use that in his last year. Scare the crap out of them.

The word would of course get to the Iranians. It would be fun to see what the Iranians did and see which allies spread info to the Iranians. We might even see Ahmedjian replaced and the nuke program ended.
