#2 "nation of supervisors" actually is the best description I've seen of the tendency lately to want everyone to be a college grad. They forget that not everyone can, should or wants to be a chief.

Another personal soapbox as I see the kids that don't go to college sidetracked/ignored/dismissed by many who should know better. Those kids are the muscle and bone of our society.

#5 Think about the guy on "Dirty Jobs', Betcha he's quite well off.

My grandfather always said, dont be ashamed to get dirty, it has to be done and it'll always wash off.

And it does, I've been thinking about all the dirty jobs I've done, (mostly because I had to), I can't count them all from well drilling, septic tank installating, plumbing, wiring, etc.

Every one gave me new knowledge, and pride in the accomplishment.

I actually caught an episode of 'Deadliest Catch' over the weekend, and it was pretty good.

Makes me wish I didn't weigh so much and wouldn't sink the boat...

#8 OK, I've got it figured out now, since switching to Opera (Thanks for the recommendation) when I post sometimes I get a hang and a blank screen, when that happens ANYTHING I DO causes a double post, the only sure fix is to exit Opera, and then restart, then no double postings.
