#3 I was about 18-19 when I saw Bardot "nekked" in "And God Created Woman." I thought she was a pretty hot little strumpet at the time but then we often deluded in our youth and driven by our hormones. Do you think I might have a lawsuit for being corrupted by this woman?

#6 May TW and all other Rantburg ladies forgive me but:

"Sois belle et tais toi, co..se" (Be beautiful and shut up, idiot).

But it also applies to the Robert Redfords, Brad Pitts and Leonardo di Caprios (usually college dropouts) who think that just because they have interesting faces they are smarter than us and entitled to tell us who we must vote. It is only that I have zero interest in beautiful men so I cannot tell them the "Be beautiful and shut up, idiot" thing

#12 Madonna can't keep anybody from coming to her concert that plops down the $100 or $200 bucks. But why anyone would want to do that is beyond me. I wouldn't walk across the street to see her. The one redeeming thing she did right was to split with that idiot Sean Penn.

That statement can only be made to a beautiful idiot, whereas it is well-known that the other Rantburg ladies are stunningly beautiful, frighteningly intelligent, and dangerous as a tigress with young cubs. It has been suggested that I take up the study of tea trays as an offensive weapon that I might join their ranks, but I haven't got beyond being appalled at the thought of hammering out the dents afterward, I fear.

#14 TW: a rubber mallet and a bean bag work admirably for removing dents from metal surfaces.
A little pratice on an old cookie sheet (or any Chevrolet hood) will have you doing the Ms. GoodWrench Shuffle in no time!

#17 Everyone has an opinion. Showbiz people get to have their opinions publicized because they're showbiz people. I don't begrudge her right to have an opinion, but I find it amusing that reporters think it newsworthy enough to cover.

#18 Bardot's wrong on this but, hey, nobody's right about everything. She's got Muzzies pretty well nailed and that carries a lot of weight with me since it's such a rare thing in La Belle France.

She did look VERY good in the 60's, too.
