#1 Define "Civilian". I was watching the news last night, and they showed video of a truckload of armed taleban fighters trundling down the road. A young man I'd estimate to be 16 to 18 years old ran up to the truck and jumped on. The taleban fighters didn't discourage him.

Is he a civilian?

#2 U.S. military investigators found no evidence of human remains in any of the four bomb craters it examined, the official said.

Makes one wonder. There have been plenty of instances in Afghanistan of inflated and outright false civilian death claims to get western condolence money and graves filled with goats and sheep.
