Now they want a mosque built there.

Their single-sex guards demand was refused - but it's feared they could now take their complaint to the European Court and use the Human Rights Act to claim they are being victimised.

A prison source said: "They do not believe female guards should oversee Friday prayers - and they go mad when they are told what to do by a woman. But that's life."

Okay. Nuthin but women on the prayer detail...

#4 None of the prisoners were arrested for praying too loudly, or too often. If society locked them up for murder, they are praying to the wrong Power.

#9 When you live in a society but refuse to follow its rules, you're a criminal. As a criminal, you have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you don't care about the rules of other people. You have forfeited the rights of ordinary, rule-obeying citizens. Get over it. Until you've paid your due to society, and agree to live within its rules, you are nothing but a criminal, with no "rights" other criminals don't have. Live with it.

#10 This could be an almost perfedt catch 22 senario. If the judiciary decides that the Muslims have a right to not be told what to do and to not be guarded by women doesn't that violate the women's rights to be employed regardless of sex? So do we discriminate against Muslims or Women? Tough descision.
