#1 One hypothesis that should not be overlooked is that the Pakistan Army has once again made a deal with the Taliban to let them withdraw amid much smoke and loud talk in order to get additional US aid. I believe their spokesman telling us that most of the mujahadeen escaped and the cannon fodder were left behind for show with much encouragement to die for Allah.

Agree, but...

The Paks don't do surgical strikes to avoid civilian casualties. Now good old style WWI or WWII artillery application....

The Paks, and the MSM, don't care about civilian casualties when its not the evil Americans or the allies doing it. The hiding behind human shields or simply dropping the weapon and mingling with civies probably doesn't work well for the Taliban in this situation.

The Paks don't have much use of intel from prisoners. Water is for drinking.
