#2 in my estimation almost any praise of McCain outside his military service is generous. he is the prototypical RINO

#3 #1 & #2 are correct. McCain is unprincipled and his attitudes on various legislation are all over the map. He is more than willing to sell out any kind of conservative economic principles or constitutional gaurantees.

Deserves praise for his service but I think that his POW time may have loosened too many screws.
