Williams is Newfoundland Premier. Not a PM, which title is reserved for the top Canuckian honcho.

Article does not say whether Williams returned to The Canadian National Igloo in Ottawa. /s

#3 And BTW, Williams is not exactly socialist. Though Progressive Conservative party seems like an oxymoron, it is ever so slightly right of center.

#7 I was in Newfoundland as a child, I remember one day in mid summer the temperature got all the way up to 70 Fahrenheit, and people were falling out with heatstroke.

Cold as hell. they had a wood plank aqueduct feeding water to St Johns that watered like a lawn sorinkler in summer, but froze over in winter and didn't leak then, the water inside didn;t freeze because it was moving swiftly, so it worke fine year 'round.
