#1 I think our educational system is failing us in Tennessee. We have these wingnuts such as Al Gore (Harvard BA in government, dabbled in divinity and law at Vanderbilt) and Van Jones (UT BA in communications/poly sci and Yale law degree) who have few qualifications in environmental sciences. Neither have any scientific background in environmental sciences or engineering. They are basically environmental cheerleaders for their pet causes or rabble rousers.
