#1 Shahriar is a pretty modern poet. Most of his work was 1950-1970 or so.

#3 I've read there's a big heroin problem in Tehran.
And junkies do the same thing here. A haul like that could keep you high for quite awhile.
But, of course, I'm sure stuff like that would never happen in an Islamic paradise...
