#2 Back in the '60s, the cry of the Simba rebels was 'Mai, mai!' - 'water, water'. The belief being that this would turn govt troops' bullets to water. Given Congolese conscript marksmanship, they may as well have been shooting water, but later mercs and UN troops
probably cured them...
