#2 A fight between Iran and Saudi Arabia would be very entertaining, though I doubt would achieve anything on its own, unless the Iraqi army got involved.

The Saudis on their own are not big enough to invade Iran, but their weapons could beat about anything Iran threw at them, and blow the heck out of the Iranian military (defense budget about $38b/yr).

Iraq does have enough of a military, and a good one at this point, to invade and conquer Iran, with Saudi help.

And if the Iranians started it, I doubt the typical Iranian on the street would be too keen for supporting the regime.

#3 since Iran has no problem shooting and killing Shiite protesters in Iran, this shows the Shiite disturbance in Bahrain has Iranian agitation behind it. The US 5th Fleet might have something to do in an altercation there
