And the picture caption says the good Admiral was speaking to the press in Rio de Janiro, but that bridge in the background sure looks like the Coronado Bay Bridge, in San Diego.

Indeed it does, but the piers looked a little off to me, and whaddaya know, there's a bridge in Rio that's a good fit, too. FWIW, bingle coughed up some pix of Stennis taken from the bridge in '10.

#8 I think these admirals are in deep do-do. There's 5 people charged so far. Chances are someone flipped and implicated these two as being on the receiving end of some ..goodies. Could also be CI-related in connection to the scandal. One or both of them were at PACOM in the recent past.

IMO - ANY public official caught taking bribes should be executed. That includes military folks and heroes such as Duke Cunningham.
