#1 I try to imagine who "President" Biden would pick to be HIS Vice President, so as to ensure that no one ever tried to assassinate him.

Hank Johnson and Maxine Waters come to mind. I had to rule out Marion Barry due to his "ill health".

#2 Is there a single responsible, adult, serious Democrat that might run?

Being from Massaholia I know Fauxcohontas and do not consider her any of those things.

Where are the Hubert Humphreys or Jimmuh Carters or McGoverns even? Never voted for any of them but I could have (I have amnesia about '76) as they were all serious.

Are there any Democrat candidates worthy of the name?
