One has to wonder why the UK Daily Mail deliberately reported only on the lightweights, the fringe candidates, and the one-notes. To get credibility with the US political elites? Polishing their media credentials prior to the US elections? To gain 'eyeballs' in general?

Apparently the latter objective worked.
