#2 if we believed every one of these 'after-action reports', it would mean that, since early 2014, ISIS is losing well over 1000 fighters each month

and yet they still have basically the same territory they had then

it would also mean that they are replacing their fighters at about the same rate that they are being killed

its a bit difficult to believe; in particular, the body counts provided by the Iraqi Govt must be looked at skeptically
