#1 Considering the hostility they have showed, I doubt Congress would be willing.

Also, these newspapers have been pushing hard for tougher anti-trust laws and enforcement (for big business they don't like, obviously) and now they have the gall to ask for exemptions...

#4 Good news on the New England front - the Boston Globe continues to shrink as it abandons its headquarters on 135 Morrissey Boulevard last month.

These will make fine dormitories for UMass-Boston, right across the street.
