#2 I think that the article meant 400 megawatt-hours per day. Units in the article were wrong. That translates to an average load of 16.7 megawatts. That seems more reasonable.

But the point still stands. Don't pay for electricity, no electricity for yuuuuu!!!!

#3 400 MW output per hour would be require a pretty significant mid-sized power station, or 280 fairly large wing turbines taking roughly 23 acres each. As the strip is just over 90,000 acres, they could put up 3,900 wind turbines and solve the middle east's energy crisis.

Yeah, that's the ticket.
