#1 Why the PA gets one thin dime in the first place is baffling. Isn't it amazing when the US President (and even with fair warning) does something that is as common-sensical as it gets?

But someone remind me--why had we continued to support the PA but were also quick to pass the (some would say, dubious) Magintsky Act? (To cover for US attempts to manipulate Russian politics?)
